The Wedding Process
A blend of small-scale agriculture and botanical design
The farm is the heart of our creative process. Seasonal blooms create the framework for the designs as well as provide opportunity to re-imagine the familiar.
The connection you will feel with the flowers, knowing the nurture that has gone into them will be a wonderful addition to your love story.

After you’ve reviewed your mood board and quote, we’ll go back and forth to refine the details until everything feels just right. Once the plan is dialed in and you’re ready to move forward, a deposit secures your date and allows me to begin finalizing elements so everything comes together seamlessly on your wedding day.
Once I receive your completed questionnaire, I begin to conceptualize your wedding flowers. I’ll create a personalized mood board inspired by your vision and the flowers that will be in-season, along with a tailored quote to bring the whole concept to life.
Fill out our wedding flower questionnaire! Here, you will also have an opportunity to share your inspiration pictures, the floral elements you want to have, and general information about your wedding

Why choose Opal’s Flowers for your wedding?
-
You value the importance of flowers in the overall wedding experience and want to plan your wedding around local in-season flowers. When you go into planning your wedding flowers with an aesthetic, rather than having your heart set on a particular flower, there is more room to create lush floral arrangements with diverse blooms. The more flexible you are, the greater the variety of blooms we will have to choose from to create your wedding flower arrangements.

-
You feel better knowing your wedding flowers are sustainable. The flower industry can be an ugly place - with plastic floral foam, toxic pesticides, and worldwide shipping. You'll be happy to know, none of these apply here. Our flowers are grown using natural methods and arranged in chicken-wire and reusable vessels.
